For the past month ever store I've been to has been jam packed. In fact many stores where so packed full of people, I just left after 10 seconds.
Yet, at the same time, I've been seeing weekly reports that Christmas is going bad for merchants. I have to wonder if retailers are reporting false information in some kind of attempt to convince people to spend more.
