Great stuff, and bookmarked.
Nova explored the Semitic angle, which surprised me to some degree. I guess you can't just completely igore the obvious overlap between the concepts of "Communist" "Traitor" and "Jews" in the context of the times.
Amazing.
If memory serves, Yggdrasil says someplace on his site that it will never cease to amaze him how even guys like MacArthur and McCarthy couldn't at the time bring themselves to equate "Communist infiltration of Hollywood" with "Jewish ownership of Hollywood."
Our race really does have an overly developed instinct for self-deception.
