Any of you ever notice that during this time of year there is at least ONE "poor" lady in the ghetto each night on the news who 'accidently' had one of her 10+ kids burn down the house and everything in it????
Seems like a daily occurance down here. Some dumb lady will be on the news with her 10 bastard children, crying about how her xmas was ruined and now she 'dont know what to do, booohooohoo, blah blah blah'... Then all the local idiots fall for it and send them THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of dollars worth of furniture and anything else they could ever want. I mean they end up with a xmas like they will NEVER see again. So its a calculated move on their part... And quite frankly I cant blame them, since there are enough dumb people out there to play along.
But I mean why the **** do we keep allowing (encouraging is more like it) a woman to have 10+ kids, NONE of which she can pay for? And then feel sorry for them and give them a free ride. And they hardly have any attachment to their kids at all and seem to not care what happens to them either way.... I mean unless of course one of them gets hit by a car or slips and falls or something.. then all the sudden they become quite the loving parent when its time to go to court for that lawsuit. Oh well... so long as there are idiots out there who encourage these women to give birth to more mouths than they can feed, they wont stop.
Anyways.. I was just wondering if this was a South Florida phenomenon or if you guys ever noticed the same thing in your areas?

In S. California, it seems to alternate between some hispanic family having a similar tragedy, then a black "family" having the same. Always with the overweight, blubbering, tear streaked face of the momma full screen, followed up with shots of their uncomprehending cubs.
However, this reminds me a couple of incidents that gave me some measure of hope. Last Christmas, some people whom I would never have thought would point out such a thing, mentioned it at work. And were very cynical - and hysterically cruel in the funny, stick it to 'em N.B. Forrest vein of humor. Then, this past Halloween, the same thing. In S. CA, there's always the mestizo family or two that burns down their house or the wing of a Section 8 apt. bldg or housing project with their ... pumpkin! Of course, we're all expected to wipe the tears from our eyes, and send cash - NOW - to a "foundation" that's appeared from nowhere to help out the poor Neanderthals and their little gangbangers in training. Scam central. This time more coworkers commented on the incidents, and the people that always seem to "endure" them. :bash:
