For those of you who weren't dumb enough to contribute to Bush in 2000, this is a sample of the garbage the GOP campaign sends you.

"So, if you've delayed supporting the Bush-Cheney campaign because you feel we have somehow let you down, let me know what you think we must do better. I want to hear from you.

But please don't abandon President Bush, Mr. ***. He has restored dignity and honor to the White House. He is leading America in the War on Terrorism. He is helping grow our economy and make America a more compassionate and hopeful place. He is the leader America needs today"

Sickening. As if they have no clue.

"He wants a blue, clear sky and happiness for everyone."

What idiotic platitudes. Goes to show how high the GOP estimates the intelligence of their targeted audience. Bush and the GOP -- the perfect choice for today's dumbed-down America.

This is not only directed to "freeper" types, but the nitwits who call in talk radio and speak of Bush as if the Second Coming has occured.

I still get this crap and when I do I fill it out front and back with reasons why I won't support Bush, nor give money to the G.O.P.

Why don't they just go with the old stand-by, sure to work on any conservative!

-Jay[/QUOTE] Maybe many, but not any conservative. It's obvious Bush does not represent a large segment who used to find support from the GOP. Just how large it is, no one knows. But, I suspect Bush isn't going to win 2004 as easily as his smoke and mirror PR would have us believe.
