The first season of South Park I found very offensive and only moderately funny. Now, I usally get a few real good, spit out my food and drink, laughs out of South Park. Even better, the show is honestly Politically Incorrect -- a trait I can't find in any other show.

The most recent show, Butt Out, viciously attacked the anti-smoking crusaders, especially the obese Rob Reiner. They were rightly exposed as liars and enemies of freedom. (no, the show didn't even imply smoking was healthy)

The epsode before that, All About Mormans, was very educational concerning the Morman religion and its founder Joseph Smith.

Previous epsides have been critical of abortion, homosexuals, hate crime laws, Affirmative Action, etc. One episode featured the South Park community preserving their town against an African American invasion. Another episode exposed Crossing Over's John Edward and how con artists fool people into thinking they get knowledge from the spirit world.

Too Bad South Park got stupid after the first season was over. Most of the new episodes are to infantile to watch.

Now Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn is a good show!

South Park is only getting better. In the last episode, the Christmas show, 4th-grader Cartman observes "First, the Jews killed Jesus, now the Jews want to kill Christmas!" (from memory) What other show is going to speak this truth?

I saw an episode of Boston Public which informed viewers that the Romans killed Jesus. This lie is the Politically Correct version that is spewed the mainstream media and the neocon crowd.

I saw South Park in the early days and it seemed virulently anti-Christian and blasphemous. Is it any better now?

 Oh yeah, the "poor"(white) folks fighting against the "rich"(black) folks. How they burned "lower case Ts" on their lawns and dressed up as "ghosts".

Then the episode where the kids are sent to "tolerance camp", and it turns into a multi-culturalist spoof of Schindler's List.

No, not really. You should've seen the episode that dealt with the Catholic sex abuse scandal.
As for the lines about "Jews killing Christ," it should be apparent that the show is ridiculing and condemning "anti-Semitism" rather than pushing some sort of politically incorrect message.
Certainly thats probally the intent of the creators(one or both of them is Jewish I believe). However I've seen evidence of the opposite effect, where now it gives us an open channel to actually discuss these issues openly.

Perun, aw, you watch it, too!

At the end of the poor whites vs. the rich blacks, did you catch the final words of the episode? Something like, "I'm glad we finally got rid of those n...." (the show ends before the whole word comes out).

Sheridan, yes, Christianity is mocked. I don't like the episodes with Jesus (at least South Park's Jesus is still good). Christianity is mocked all over the place. What's different here is that this is the only comedy to be really Politicall Incorrect.

Here's the first half of a song sang by the Jewish boy (**** courtesy of the BBS software):> It's hard to be a Jew on Christmas My Friends won't let me join in any games. And I can't sing Christmas songs Or decorate a Christmas tree. Or leave water out for Rudolph cos there's something wrong with me. My people don't believe in Jesus Christ's divinity. I'm a Jew, a Lonely Jew.. on Christmas.

Hanukkah is nice, but why is it, That Santa passes over my house every year? And instead of eating Ham I have to eat Kosher Lekeesh. Instead of Silent Night I'm singing hou-hazch-tou-gavish.. And what the * is up With lighting all these *ing Candles, tell me please? I'm a Jew, a Lonely Jew.. I can't be merry, cos i'm Hebrew.. on Christmas

Wasn't the last episode that Jesus was in was the spoof of Black Hawk Down where Jesus leads a commando raid into Iraq to rescue Santa(whose being tortured by the Iraqis for being a Yankee spy)?

I like it when the police officer tells him its illegal for Jews to eat Christmas snow.

That episode is Red Sleigh Down. Jesus becomes an action hero.
