Nov. 19, 2003 | That old-time "conservatism" Whoever decided to post a nauseating anti-Semitic screed about George Soros on the GOPUSA Web site has apparently reconsidered, after embarrassing exposure in Eschaton and other blogs. As of this morning, the essay titled "Satan Lives in George Soros" had disappeared. A commercial Republican site that features fourth-rate columnists and flashing ads, GOPUSA's "issues and action" conference in Washington a few weeks ago attracted the likes of Grover Norquist, Bob Barr, Kellyanne Conway, Reps. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) and Steve King (R-Iowa), and Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas).
None of those individuals is responsible for the Soros-bashing essay, of course, but the proprietors of GOPUSA have some explaining to do. The only reasonable assumption is that they endorsed the vile gutter bigotry that suffuses this piece from the first paragraph, in which the liberal philanthropist is described as a "Hungarian-born descendant of Shylock" and "the embodiment of the Merchant from [sic] Venice." It goes on to quote accusations against Soros by former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamed and other notorious anti-Semites on the Russian far right. (The semiliterate author, identified by Josh Marshall today as James Hall, uses the pen name "Sartre" -- perhaps unaware that the French philosopher had much to say about this particular form of mental illness in "Anti-Semite and Jew.")
Hall's essay can still be found on his own site, which offers such interesting clues to his ideological disposition as the links on this page (scroll down) to the works of the late Francis ParkerYockey, an American fascist activist and author.
Although GOPUSA has no official connection with the Republican Party, the occasion for spewing this filth was the recent announcement by Soros that he will commit his financial and intellectual power to defeating George W. Bush. Republican National Committee chairman Ed Gillespie, who honed his propaganda skills on behalf of Enron, has commenced a bitter campaign against Soros. Gillespie evidently believes that wealth can only be used legitimately to support Republicans.
More such filth will no doubt emanate from the precincts of the "old" far right. Soros is simply too tempting a target for the paleo-cons -- and he obviously isn't alone among prominent Jews in opposing Bush. But just as black leaders are expected to denounce Louis Farrakhan, will anyone demand that Gillespie publicly reject such anti-Semitic attacks on his new nemesis? [11 a.m. PST, Nov. 19, 2003]

Well, it's a good thing that that essay about Soros was pulled! After all, anti-Sandwich-spread is sinister! Ever try making a sandwich without Sandwich-spread? I tried to, just the other day. I mean, I had the bread, the cheese, the lettuce, the pickles...everything. But something was missing -- Sandwich-spread. A sandwich ain't fit to eat without it. That sandwich just sorta sat there on the countertop, lookin' ugly and unedible. Ya knows? Geez.

Rense published over the Global Gulag column on Soros over the weekend. Prison Planet has it on their site. Did not see it on WRH, but Mike did linkback to the 'Wrack' article - JFK retrospectives adnauseam.
Have sent a heads-up to Mike. Consider dropping him a note to run the GG column.
Will write a follow up GG for next week that will appear in EtherZone.

I am generally quite impressed by the quality of discussion by many of the participants on this board.
Soros clearly has increasing political aspirations and has subsequently been positioning himself with this in mind for sometime. Whilst I concede that in principle he is right to support the anti-Bush/Iraq war camp you do have to wonder at what price?
The Bush Administration is a failure politically and the momentum to install a Pro-Zionist Democrat government in it's place is now already well under way. Much the same situation is true in Britain where Blair will be ousted in favor of the neo-liberal so called conservative Jew Howard. However this feeble plot runs the risk of being exposed and exploited by their opponents.
ZOG and co. are a bunch of fanatics. Their totalistic talmudic religious dogma is the root cause of there peoples problems and they well know it. They are as usual spinning the yarn of supposed ideologically division among themselves. I want to make this crystal clear to you people. We are there only effective opposition. They are in reality unified in their cause (are annihilation) as never before.
The heavily indoctrinated Neo-Con, American Zionist movement and their moronic dualistic, lackey Freemason/Christian dupes, along with certain corrupt European established are indeed the root cause of the failure of America's and Britain's unlawful erroneous and unethical foreign policies. They constitute nothing short of a elitist, racialistic, anti-Christian, anti-European, anti-Islamic cult.
The vast majority of mainstream parties are doing little or nothing to isolate and ostracize this illegitimate movement politically. Which is hardly surprising since the Jewish lobby not only entirely controls the media but accounts for over 60% of Democratic and Republican US presidential election donations.
Whilst the threat posed by the Islamic world is a real one and it's increasing incursions in to our societies are some cause for concern. Islam in it's current belligerent format is in no small part a direct by-product of Zionism and lack of social investment due to high levels of domestic corruption.

The Turks have certainly made a mistake in covertly aligning with the Jews against both Europe and the Arab world. The North Africans clearly as of yet, don't share their enthusiasm.
The Islamic world has experienced sizable demographic growth in the last few decades and is currently engaging in a expansionist policy of colonization. Globalisation and illegal immigration serves not only to undermine are internal security but also are very territorial integrity. This situation simple can not continue to be allowed to be left unchecked any longer.
It should however be clear to all that hot headed Islamic states are not the ones most blame for the worlds current instability, but rather the increasingly strange goings on within are own societies.
Therefore are focus should be on opposing the subversively orchestrated, multi racialist, secular humanist, policies of Western governments. Which are clearly designed to undermine and fragment our peoples geo-political interests and are intended to usurp control of are societies to retrogressive foreign entities.
Hence we must endeavor to re-establish direct control of are own nations state apparatus by securing them from these deviant foreign agents. All immigrant groups that have no intention of acculturating or assimilating in to Occidental societies must be repatriated to their counties of origin.
For I submit to you that if are aims can not be obtained though political means, then the only alternative means that we are left with to obtain are peoples freedom and self determination is insurrection and civil war.

Correct, Gregz. Many people laugh at me, but I know a collapse is inevitable, and a civil war a certainty. It will be harsh, brutal, etc. But in the end, it will be best for us. Our 'rulers' will be gone, as those that do survive, will have fled in haste. The clean up will be monumental, but it can and will be done.

I've been quiet of late since I feel that we're in a "national holding pattern," and not much has changed on the national scene to provoke any new commentary from me. Same old st, different day. I have to respond here to this infuriating e-mail from Rachel Alexander, though. The tone and direction of her comments toward you sum up exactly what's wrong with this country, as well as the "mainstream" conservative movement in general. Notice how she mentions that you went "way over the line." Seems at least here she admits there is a [party] line that she's enforcing. Worse, she seems to adopt a nagging, finger-wagging stance where she says that she "hope[s] in the future you will refrain from [being un-P.C.]." What a self-righteous bch.
Anyway, excellent job SARTRE with this entire article and affair. You made some major waves, and that is an indication that you're right on target. Keep it up and really stick it to these fools.

I can't top SARTRE's 'searching the gulags' line, PA, but your post is a sight for sore eyes.
Just remember, we may be in a national holding pattern, but the 'net and boards like this one are on 24-7 and new folks come on-line every day. Always the chance that your take on things might peel back the scales of disinformation over their eyes. You never know. That's why I implore every one of our learned members to stay as active as they can. We need our best and brightest out on the front lines to point the way for the youth of tomorrow.
