Don't let your wife/fiance/girlfriend drag you out to this Hugh Grant romantic comedy, unless you think you would enjoy seeing:
A beautiful English girl wed to a negro, and his (white) English friend pine for her with hopeless courtly love. A rather emasculating scene in my estimation.
A young (white) English boy pine for a mulatto girl (mulatta? whatever) Fear not, he does get this dusky prize in the end
A bunch of other indiscriminate black/white couplings.
There are several other storylines running through this movie that give pause, including a Monica lookalike working for the Prime Minister (Hugh Grant) who is caught in an embarrasing situation with the visiting American President.
The whole movie was rather obvious in it's pushing for white English girls to "get it on" with black dudes, and also for little wimpy white children to blather sweet nonesense to black chicks. I think it's odd that such behavior would require such a push from the propaganda factory if it wasn't something people would drift into naturally. But I suppose this is the folly of the Marxists- they think we're infinitely malleable blobs of clay that can be brainwashed into doing whatever they want us to. In this case, it's populated the British Isles with beige people. :afro:

Juliet (Keira Knightley) discovers Mark's (Andrew Lincoln) true feelings for her in Richard Curtis' romantic comedy "Love Actually." Photo Credit: Peter Mountain
Alrighty, this photo pretty much sums up the propagandistic mindf*** aspects of this movie. "Juliet" has already given her love to a Congoid who we understand to be the manly, girl winning fellow, while "Mark" sobs like a little girl. Mark is emasculated, and the message is implanted in every white man's mind that his role is to wistfully look on at the beautiful white prize as though he were a medieval troubadour singing love songs to a lady that can never be his because she is wed to a powerful lord. In this case, however, the powerful lord is a black man. Get it yet? This really goes beyond the normal "hey, mixing races is cool" message, and actively states the proper role of white gentiles is second banana when it comes to access to genetically desirable mates. This one gets the golden :dung: award.

From your assestment of the film, I can surely say I'm not paying money to go see it! But then again, I don't go to the movies anyways lately since all they have is worthless :dung: on screen.
Sounds like a real sickening perversion of the notions of courtly love, which was a highlight of Medieval European literature, although I believe some elements of it were borrowed from Arab love poetry.

Yeah, normally I wouldn't even watch this sort of film, but my fiance sort of dragged me to it. I hasten to point out that the overt racial genocide theme of the film wasn't hinted at in any of the promotional material I saw.
Even if the miscegenation angle wasn't so pronounced, I still would have problems with the story. The myth that putting a woman on a pedestal and worshipping her from afar is going to get you anywhere with her is constantly emphasized. I am here to tell you that is b.s. This notion of the "nice guy" who adores some chick for weeks and then showers her with presents and poems in a bid to "express his feelings" is merely flattering the illusions females have about themselves. We all know (well, those of us who have trodden that miserable path) that in reality nice guys finish last. I can say that because I've been there, swallowed the crap Hollywood puts out, and finally altered my modus operandi in time to "get the girl" as they say. Any young guys out there, never treat a woman like a queen until she has proven herself worthy of that kind of treatment. Women DO NOT respect the nice guy, even the ones that you think are pure as the driven snow and so forth.
Okay, end of rant.

We can't pin that one hollywood. It's a convention of Western art that goes back at least to the middle ages. Not everything traditional is good.

Maximillian,
Thanks telling us about this film. Yes, you are Right. I have seen much promotional material about "Love, Actually" and no non-whites were shown in any of it. Miscegenation was not eveb hinted at in any of it.
Any one see Zadie Smith's "White teeth?"

Sounds disgusting.
Anyone see Mona Lisa Smile. One of the actresses was on the daily show and told Jon Stewart. "Don't worry, it's not a Feminazi movie." Somehow I have my doubts.

I'm not Don Juan, but I've always had girlfriends and I can say that this is the advice I give to my younger brothers: laugh & joke a lot. Girls definitely go for that. DOn't tell them what to do - but in return, NEVER do something they want if you don't want to. they surely respect that. and save your arguments for big things, like their feminazi whining, multi-culti shit and liberal mockery. That's what I do.
most of all, set expectations early. don't be a pansy, then try to get tough 6 months into it. Can't work, no matter what HollyWeird says.
