Yobs[Pakis] attack firefighters
FIREFIGHTERS were petrol-bombed, racially abused and attacked by gangs of youths[Pakis] last night as they tackled blazes that had been deliberately started.
In one of the worst nights of attacks on firefighters, fire officers from Chadderton and Oldham attended several calls to the Pitt Street area of Glodwick, only to be met by a barrage of verbal and physical abuse from youngsters[Pakis] as young as 13.
Several firefighters reported having petrol bombs thrown at their fire engines and one had his protective helmet to thank when a brick struck his head.
At one point they had to withdraw from the area after a brick smashed the window of an appliance and a group of between 30 and 40 youths[Pakis] gathered.
Now they are calling on parents[Pakis] and community leaders[Pakis] in the area to intervene and stop the yobs[Pakis] targeting them.

For a start, in England using the word "Paki" is on a par with using the word "nigger".
Secondly, were they actually Pakistanis or were they Indians? I can't see a mention in the link provided.
Thirdly, they were almost certainly born in England as their parents probably were too. Oldham has a high racial mix. Therefore, they are British and you can't deport them from their own country.
Fourthly, I should imagine these "Paki animals" as your "fiends [sic]" call them know that Britain isn't spelled "B-R-I-T-I-A-N" - as said fiends spell the word.

It states: ?It is of extreme importance to Oldham and, we would argue, to community cohesion in the North-West, that capital investment into our secondary schools takes place across the communities.
?Educational segregation in Oldham is a result of community segregation but it must not perpetuate it.?
The letter has been sent in the wake of ongoing concern that despite apparent advances, little has changed beneath the surface in Oldham.
In recent years, huge amounts of special government grants have been poured into the town, and a raft of well-intentioned projects has been set up.
But a recent investigation by a committee of MPs has suggested these efforts are having little impact on the street.
Programme
The MPs? letter adds weight to the fears top officials still have about underlying racial tension, and makes it clear that money will have a vital role to play.
Billions of pounds for new schools and the refurbishment of existing sites is being made available under the Building Schools for the Future programme.
Oldham Council has submitted a bid which, if successful, could see a massive programme of regeneration start in 2005-6. *

You're as intellectually honest as Morris Dees. You know darn well (or at least you should before you spout off) that people in the U.S. have been "armed to the teeth" for all of this country's existence but that the "terrifying" murder rate has been a relatively recent phenomenon. In fact, up until 1968, kids, mere minors, could and did order guns through the mail with no nanny-state background check or surveillance (the horror!), yet in those days, mass shootings were a statistical abnormality, school shootings were unheard of and shootings in general weren't all that common. Hell, the murder toll for the Capone's Chicago mob topped out at 75 in 1926, and those were days when any citizen with the cash could walk into the local hardware store and purchase a Thompson subgun with no questions asked, whereas a death toll of "only" 75 would be considered a very good year in today's Washington D.C. where, you might note, gun control is the rule of the day.
No, I'd spell out more probable reasons for the wildly increased murder rate, but I suspect you'd approach them with the same degree of integrity you've already displayed here, i.e. none at all.
I do have a "solution" for you, though. May I suggest you tread territory that those nasty haters won't and go into any predominantly-minority neighborhood and play peacemaker, waging a one-man struggle for peace by explaining to all these betters what an understanding and tolerant guy you are. Be sure to proselytize any and all Yardies you find, since they're undoubtedly the members of British society most vulnerable to "racism" and "hate."
I think you'll find all your problems will be over in short order.

Firefighters said the gangs were burning anything and everything in sight.
One firefighter from Oldham told the BNP's newspaper Freedom:
"From the moment we arrived we were subjected to a hail of bricks and racist abuse.
"If the authorities tried their anti-BNP witch-hunt in the fire service, as they are doing in the police, they would end up with no firefighters on duty in Oldham. To a man everyone is a BNP voter and supporter, if not a BNP member.
"A couple of call-outs to Glodwick is enough to convince any sane person that immigration has been detrimental to Oldham."

As for the word "Paki" I was under the impression it usage is really no different than Paddy, Yank or Limey. These terms can be used with hostility or even affection it all just depends on the inflection, although given the nature of Pakis I imagine hostility is the more common motif.

I think they find it offensive because it is used as a blanket term for Pakistanis, Indians etc.
As you say, Limey/Paddy/Yank etc can be used as terms of endearment. They would only really be offensive followed by the word "ct". For instance, "you Yank ct" or "you Limey ct". Similarly, in rare cases "ct" is also a term of endearment. For instance, "how are you, you old c**t?"
The BNP doesn't have much support in Britain. It sometimes does well at local elections in deprived working class areas where voters get hacked off with the Indians getting free housing etc from the local council.
Strangely, the people that vote BNP are often socialists - ex-Labour voters who would never vote Tory. So perhaps you are right that it is incorrect to refer to them as a neo-Nazi organisation.
