US House of Representatives condemns Mathahir's remarks about Jews

October 30, 2003

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The US House of Representatives late Thursday voted unanimously to repudiate comments made by Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who ignited a firestorm earlier this month by claiming Jews rule the world.

By a vote of 411 to 0, with one absention, the lower chamber of Congress adopted a resolution condemning Mathahir's remarks as "incendiary" and "despicable."

"Incendiary rhetoric of this nature can be neither excused nor rationalized, " the resolution read, decrying the "age-old stereotypes of Jewish global domination and grotesque anti-Semitism."

The resolution called upon other governments and international bodies, particularly the European Union, to condemn Mahathir's comments, which were made at the summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference held in Malaysia in mid-October.

Mahathir at the summit stated that "the Europeans killed six million Jews out of 12 million. But today the Jews rule this world by proxy."

The notoriously outspoken Asian leader, whose comments drew global condemnation and outrage from Western nations, commented that 1.3 billion Muslims could not be defeated by a few million Jews.

The vote in the lower chamber of the US Congress comes three days after the Senate unanimously approved a similar measure condemning the Malaysia Prime Minister's remarks.

The Senate legislation called on the US State Department to determine that Malaysia "supports and promotes religious freedoms, including tolerance for people of the Jewish faith" before releasing 1.2 million dollars in foreign aid to Malaysia.

Yup, Mathahir's remarks were "incendiary," "despicable"...and TRUE, as the very existence of this resolution shows.

Re: 411-0

In free and democratic America, it's so refreshing to see that dissent and naysaying are active in politics.

...proving the man absolutely correct!

Oh, and guess who the abstention was.

None other than Ron Paul! Wish he'd have voted "nay" but I'll take it. Guess he didn't want the James Moran treatment.

Yeah, I don't blame him either. Just for him to abstain took a lot of courage -- something Dr. Paul has never lacked -- and an abstention on this resolution is really tantamount to a "nay" vote anyway.

While it's true that an explicit "nay" vote on his part would have probably caused him to draw more fire, I suspect that his true reason for abstaining was his principled refusal to participate in activities of Congress that have nothing to do with the US per se -- in this case, making an official statement on the opinion of a foreign leader. I suppose that's a possibility, anyway.

It remains to be seen whether or not Paul will take any sh!t from the ADL or the rest of ZOG's propaganda arm for his refusal to vote with the rest of Congress.

Proxy never admit they were proxy themselves. That's why they voted unanimously at it. There is one thing I think Mahathir is true, that Israel rule the world by proxy. Nobody dare to say whom that proxy is. But it's US, obviously. There is a strong influence of Israel on US politicians.

Quote, " ISRAEL CONTROLS THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT

With the United States determined to use US troops to attack Iraq it is well to remember that Israel controls the United States, as Israel's Prime Minister has admitted.Ariel Sharon made an interesting remark to his foreign minister, Shimon Peres, when he said:"I want to tell you something very clear, don 't worry about America... we. the Jewish people control America, and the Americans know it." (The Truth At Last, Box 1211, Marietta, Georgia, USA, 30061 and Israeli Radio, Col Yiserael).

US Senator William Fulbright (of Fulbright Scholarship fame) said, "Israel controls the US Senate." (David Duke, President of European-American Unity & Rights Organisation http://www.davidduke. com/writings/howisraeliterror.shtml).That means that Israel controls the United States Military Forces. Ron Paul, US Congressman, "Our policy is driven by Israeli, not US security interests." (New Times Survey, GPO Box 1052J, Melbourne, Vie. 3001; July 2002). The following report is from Richard Niemela, ricniernela@earthlink.net: The key to seeing the level of the Israeli lobby's influence on the George Walker Bush (Bush Jr.') Administration is in noting theappointments of the following Israelis and pro-Israel Jewish advisers to posts in the White House and other Executive Branch positions. The report refers to The US Jewish Government under President Bush, and then names a long list of Jews and pro-Israelis who hold top positions in the US Government. Very poweful people, indeed!
