Germany's Jewish revival 'a sign of normality' By Kate Connolly in Berlin (Filed: 21/10/2003)
Germany's Jewish population, already the fastest-growing in the world, is expected to soar by a third in the next two years, the head of the country's Jewish community said yesterday.
Paul Spiegel, leader of the Central Council of Jews, forecast that the there would be around 130,000 Jews in Germany by 2005, and welcomed the increase as a sign that Germany was "on the way to normality".
"Today we have 83 Jewish communities with 100,000 members and synagogues are being built all around the country," Mr Spiegel said. "We could not have dreamt of this when we returned after the Second World War."
Most Jewish immigrants to Germany arrive from countries in the former Soviet Union, such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, where anti-Semitism is rife.
In 1950, following the devastation of the Holocaust, only 15,000 Jews lived in Germany compared to 560,000 before Hitler came to power.
But since 1990 persecuted Jews from the former Soviet Union have been invited to live and work in Germany, and it now has the third-largest Jewish community in Europe after France and Britain.
The state offers arriving Jews generous benefits and the chance of higher education. Applicants can have free German language lessons in their own countries while their cases are considered.
But critics within the Jewish community have often accused the newcomers of "diluting" the faith, citing the numbers who have never stepped foot in a synagogue. An illegal trade in forged Jewish birth certificates has added to charges that many who arrive are not Jews.
Mr Spiegel said many Jews chose Germany because they had to fight anti-Semitism in their homelands.
"The thinking is that a country with the history that Germany has is unlikely to let anti-Semitism become a danger again, so that is why they come to Germany," he said.

So while Gaunt, Braun and the other Germanophiles are busy criticizing America as controlled by the chosen ones, it seems Berlin in their beloved fatherland is well on its way to becoming New Tel Aviv.

Ironic, itz.[/QUOTE] I believe the significance of this article is that Jews are abandoning Israel (their unworkable hate state) and South Africa (a state they worked 24/7 to destroy) in droves. Contrary to near constant whining about their declining numbers the Jewish population is in fact rising all over Western Europe.

... I dont say to much, just that USrael can cheer now. Thx for the good re-education of the German folk. Now the best scholar of USrael will re-educate the rest of Europe and if I look at Susan Sontag and consorts maybe the rest of the world too.

But sometimes the Jews arent that much worse than some Calvinists, not in their religious madness nor in their corruption of mind.
I dont know what happened to the Christians in US, but I'm asking this myself again and again...how could this happen that there was/is such an perveted idioty of Christendom in US. (what was even in Europe not great but if I look at the Calvinists in US latest from the 19th century on ...) This preachers had success in Europe too, and now you think its an irony? Yes it is, but I cant laugh, and if this trend will go on, you will not laugh too...
I dont judge Calvinists in individuals, just what their ideology has done in the past and still does. If I look at the preachers behind the Neo-Cons I see only that it is worse now.

Germany has been accepting Jew "refugees" from the ex-USSR. That's probably a major reason for the infestation.

One can clearly see that expulsion is not a solution. There needs to be a real solution, this time carried out globally. Once and for all.

I don't think that TD is a Germanophobe (or a Germanophile); I think that TD just doesn't care one way or the other, i.e., he doesn't dislike (or favour) Germans more than the French or Hungarians, for e.g.
TD is an Anglo Saxon Protestant, i.e., a TRUE, BLUE AMERICAN, and an isolationist who would have stayed out of WW I and WW II and other American foreign adventures, if it depended on solely him. He doesn' talk inceasantly and nostalgically about the "old country", because Texas is his country. (Please TD, jump at any time if I have it wrong).
I know a true blue American where I live; he's a good friend of mine. He teaches at a prestigious Canadian university.
He's a Protestant of German (Prussian) and Scotish stock from the Mid West. He hates what America is doing around the word and believes that every American soldier should come home, pronto. He has no clue why the US is in the Middle East (no, he knows exactly why), and so on and so forth.
To me TD and my friend are real Americans.
