FOCUS ON ISSUES

Jews appear on ‘blacklist,’ prepared by NRA, of gun haters By Rachel Pomerance

NEW YORK, Oct. 16 (JTA) — The list reads like a roster of “Who’s Who in America,” and it’s full of Jewish names.

It’s the 19-page list of organizations and individuals that the National Rifle Association deems “anti-gun.”

[LSN: Though a normal reporter would note here that the NRA has deemed them such because they are, in fact, against private gun ownership.]

In addition to Britney Spears, NBC News and the NAACP, Jews and Jewish organizations figure prominently on the list — from Jerry Seinfeld and Mandy Patinkin to the Anti-Defamation League and the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation.

[LSN: Groups that were selected not because they were Jewish, but because they are anti-gun, with the fact that they are anti-gun because they are Jewish supporters or constituent members of NCRAC, the national Jewish organizing body which believes all guns should be confiscated, being convieniently ignored.]

The NRA has had the list, which it periodically updates, for more than a decade, and it’s posted on the group’s Web site, according to NRA spokesman Ted Novin, who is Jewish.

[LSN: And Mr Novin is Jewish because in reality that NRA is a Jewish suckpoop, which is why the Jews feel they can pressure them.]

The list came to public attention after a recent New York Times column by Bob Herbert — who is on the list — blasting the gun lobby.

Now a group called Stopthenra.com has decided to publicize what it calls the “blacklist,” launching a campaign at www.nrablacklist.com that urges readers to “join the honor roll” on the NRA list.

The list is not easy to find on the NRA’s Web site. One has to click through layers of the site’s legislation and research sections to find those the group considers “pro-gun” and “anti-gun.”

[LSN: Those sneaky anti-Semites, not only did they launch a pogrom, but they did it in such a way that only Jews could detect it! The nerve!]

The list is about as expansive as America. Among those named are the American Medical Association, Maya Angelou, Ed Koch, Julia Child, the St. Louis Cardinals, Spike Lee, Ben & Jerry’s, the United States Conference of Mayors, Hallmark Cards, the National Education Association and Moon Zappa. For their part, the Jewish groups listed seem little troubled by the listing. Some said they considered their presence on the list a “badge of honor.” Others expressed slight concern at making the blacklist of a group whose members possess so much ordnance, but they still support gun control and downplayed the list’s importance.

Shelley Klein, director of advocacy for Hadassah, which is on the list, said that “to try to stigmatize organizations” and reduce multifaceted groups to a single issue is “really troubling.”

[LSN: They oppose guns, and then are upset when they appear on a list of groups that oppose guns. What's wrong here? Oh its the old Jewish principle that the "enemy" is not allowed to fight back -- fighting back is even more immoral than being attacked.]

But Klein was largely dismissive of the list.

“Seeing the company we keep, we’re not concerned,” she said. Other Jewish groups labeled “anti-gun” include the American Jewish Committee, the American Jewish Congress, B’nai B’rith, the Central Conference of American Rabbis, the Jewish Labor Committee, the National Council of Jewish Women and the Union of American Hebrew Congregations.

Reform Jewry’s most prominent national leaders made the list, including Rabbis David Saperstein, Eric Yoffie and Paul Menitoff.

Saperstein, director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, is not surprised. The Reform movement has a “long history of being out front” on gun control, he said.

[LSN: Note that the Jewish groups named are not surprised at being called anti-gun, because they are anti-gun, so what are the Jews complaining about again? Are they just writing the article in an attempt to demonize the NRA, while having no substance to it?]

Saperstein criticized the tactic.

“It’s always dismaying when a group keeps an enemies list or a blacklist,” he said. It “shuts off debate, it demonizes those who disagree.”

He also had a note of caution for the NRA.

“I would hope that the NRA would be more sensitive,” Saperstein said, because the list “could be seen as a suggestion that those people be targeted for criticism, at the least, and perhaps even more.”

[LSN: I would hope that those keeping an blacklist would be more sensitive, because their behavior is such that they are positioning themselves to be placed on our blacklist, which can whip the shit out of theirs.]

The NRA’s Novin said the list is “strictly for informational purposes” and is made up of organizations that have given either financial or grass-roots support to anti-gun organizations or causes.

The NRA drew up the list to help members who wanted to know whether companies they patronize support anti-gun policies, Novin said. Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, shrugged off the issue.

“There’s nothing wrong with it,” Foxman said. Calling it a blacklist is “inappropriate,” he said, because the NRA does not petition members to take any action against those listed. The ADL is “appropriately on there because we are an organization that has opposed” the NRA on gun legislation, Foxman said. The list only “adds credibility to them and to us.”

[LSN: Wow. Something sensible from Foxman. What's going on?]

Aaron Zelman, executive director of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, also downplayed the list.

“Who really cares?” he said. “They’re not the only ones who have done a list before.” He added: “This is the American way.”

The real problem, Zelman said, is Jewish communal leaders’ support for gun control. “If you study the history of gun control,” he said, it has been “used by every police state to disarm people and then kill them” — both Jews and non- Jews.

[LSN: JPFO is a nutty group of lying Jews that perpetuate the myth that Hitler support gun control. Just something that ought to be mentioned.]

Stopthenra.com says its campaign against the list is part of an effort to mobilize opposition to impending legislation that would protect manufacturers, distributers and dealers of firearms from lawsuits.

The group also wants to drum up support to reauthorize a federal law banning the sale of semi-automatic assault weapons.

What the hell is a semi-automatic assault weapon?

I mean, "assault rifles" are called that because they A) Use bullets closer to rifle ammunition than pistol/SMG rounds, and B) were automatic, so they could be used in assaults during warfare.

However, the term "assault weapon" seems to be made up to make people think "ooh! Big ugly scary gun!".

What a goddamn crock. When was the last time a semi-automatic rifle was used in a drive-by shooting? Don't they use illegal submachine guns and pistols modified to fire automatic for those?

Sinclair,

As you pointer out, the term, "semi-automatic assault rifle," is meaningless. If I were to attempt to come up with a definition, I might try...

A semi-automatic assault rifle is a semi-automatic civilian version of a rifle, the military version of which is fully automatic or selectively full...naah! I'm getting nowhere with this.

A semi-automatic assault rifle is a semi-automatic rifle to which can be affixed a high capacity clip or drum, or modifications as folding stocks or... nope, getting nowhere here.

The truth is, a semi-automatic assault rifle is as you said, any "big ugly scary gun."

What's worse, to many people any semi-automatic rifle is an assault rifle.

This is what Yockey meant when he spoke of "culture-distortion."

Gun control should be limited to making sure that weapons are limited to those who can use them safely, and that they are stored safely.

The NRA and The Jews have an interesting relationship, given that the Jews on both sides of the gun debate despise the NRA. For a fascinating 1995 letter exchange between Aaron Zelman/Jay Simkin of JPFO and Tanya Metaksa/Neil Knox of NRA, see this website: http://www.jpfo.org/jp-ques.htm.

Note the persistence with which Zelman/Simkin insist that Metaksa/Knox incorporate JPFO research into the NRA; the entire purpose is to frame the gun debate in terms of "The Holocaust" and the Jews.

JPFO (Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership) is also closely allied with GOA (Gun Owners of America). Here's what the former Texas representative of GOA says about the NRA on one of the anti-NRA pages of his new website (the old one was named "rampages"): http://www.GunOwnersAlliance.com/NRA.htm

NRA Stands For: "N"OT "R"ELEVANT "A"NYMORE?

The NRA as the "sole hope" of gun owners? Why am I increasingly reminded of the Jewish "trustees" who helped the new arrivals off the trains at Auschwitz, muttering soothing reassurances that if the newcomers just followed orders for a little while longer,"everything will be fine"?

Consider for a moment, what would have been the outcome, if a determined "Whistleblower" had not most recently, exposed the perversion of the Catholic priests who were having sex with the alter boys? This has now been shown to be a widespread problem inside the Catholic church. Should the Whistleblower of this injustice taken the advice I have received it the past (It is not good to air your dirty laundry in public), then tell me, would the widespread sexual perversion still be going on? You know the answer.

Even so, Gun Owners Alliance will be the "2nd Amendment Whistleblower" that tells you the truth about the NRA. Enter at your own risk, and with an open mind. And remember, we also have a solution to the problem......

-Chris W. Stark - Director for Gun Owners Alliance

Equally interesting to me is the remarkable shift in Mr. Stark's focus (target audience?). Whereas on his old website (even moreso on the JPFO website), the focus was on the Jewish genocide aspect, his new website features this remarkable "greeting":

22 September 2001 "Major Changes for GOATexas.org" Chris W. Stark Director & email editor

Greetings to all of my friends,

First of all, please note my change of address and also my new email address.

For so long, I have agonized in how I could be a positive influence in promoting freedom. I have used the 2nd amendment platform since the teeth of the constitution is exactly that, the second amendment.

However, there has always been within me a great disappointment, that the message of freedom was not reaching the masses. It was disheartening to watch.

Now, America faces the greatest challenge of all with the terrorist threat that still looms in our beloved nation. I wonder what kind of draconian laws will be passed in the name of peace and safety?

What ever happened to America trusting the God of heaven for divine guidance, as our history is so rich in? Why all the restrictive laws?

Because we have turned away from the almighty, and rather trust in man to solve our fears.

America has a great spiritual problem. And no matter how much the bill of rights is preached, it will fall on deaf ears as long as the American people are spiritually deaf and blind.

What founding father was it, that stated that only a moral and upright people would ever benefit from our bill of rights and constitution? In fact, this ancient saying from one of our founders implied that an immoral people would lose freedom, in spite of all the efforts put into creating such a wonderful document as the constitution of the USA.

I am quite afraid that America is entering into a very dark time, a time where America forsakes God and turns to their government alone for their answers.

Welcome to Godless communism and socialism.

And all of the gun rights advocates and freedom loving organizations CANNOT change this. Only a spiritual awakening, a reviving of a dead nation, back to it's Judeo/Christian faith roots can ever change the outcome.

The greatest thing we can do is help America return to God as II Chronicles 7:14 states. Therefore, this is exactly where my energies will be focused upon, from now on.

http://www.gunownersalliance.com/Faith.htm declares this truth. I have written much on this topic.

A dear friend, Charlie Clements, wrote the following comments:
Fellow Americans, we do not need more gun control laws. We do not need "hate crimes" legislation. We do not need further destruction of the Constitutional principles and Biblical values that made America the great and glorious nation that we once were. And we do not need a "bridge to the future." At the moment, America has no future.
What we need is a bridge to the past. We need to turn around and go back down the road to the point where we lost our way. We need to reexamine our history, and think about what worked--and what obviously didn't. We need to reestablish our relationship with our Creator, and we need to return--and limit--our government to its constitutional mandates.
We, as a people, have failed our God, our nation, and our children. We need to apologize to our children, and we need to promise them and provide for them the same loving, safe environment and the same limitless opportunities that we once knew as children.
But most of all, we need to repent and beg the forgiveness of our Creator, the one who created us, created our children, and created our wonderful nation. Then, and only then, will America return to the greatness and the glory that once was ours.
It's our choice.
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14

And of course, if I can help you to find your way to God, do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely, Gun Owners Alliance Chris W. Stark Director

The main problem are not weapons but the people who use them, thats just the simple truth. But its difficult tu judge which people are responsible enough for handling weapons.

If anybody asking why is there so much violence, especially in the US or other countries in America, I always make the following reasons more responsible than the weapons on their own:

Social problems, poverty, unemployment etc.

Structure of the population, Ghetto's without control, not enough police on the street and streetworkers.

Education of the children, lost of a good father and mother (typical working moms), failed school education

Defects of the personality which commits a crime with violance. Both through environmental and genetic factors.

But everybody should know that there is a social problem in the US and that there is a serious problem with the education of the children. As long as this isnt changing, there will always be violance and full jails. The ban of weapons alone will never solve this problems.

I agree that the anti-gunners' terminology is stupid. The only reasonable definition of an "assault weapon" is "a weapon that's used to assault someone."

On the subject of drive-by shootings, I actually don't think that full-auto weapons are used very often at all except in Hollywood. To be perfectly honest, if someone ever makes me the target of his drive-by, then I hope he has a full-auto gun and uses the "spray and pray" style of shooting. Rapid, aimed semi-auto fire is much deadlier than full-auto. Shooting full-auto is a great way to miss one's target completely while (1) making a great deal of noise and (2) emptying one's magazine in about 2-3 seconds so that the enemy has an opportunity to shoot back. That's true for subguns especially, but also for lightweight shoulder-fired weapons in general.

Regarding the looks of "assault weapons" like the AR-15, I think the scarier-looking they are, the better. The whole point of the Second Amendment is to intimidate the would-be tyrants among the political crowd, as well as to allow citizens to kill cops and soldiers in a guerrilla-style uprising if that ever becomes necessary to combat tyranny. The NRA never mentions that explicitly, of course, and that's a big problem I have with them. They focus exclusively on the benefits of guns for defense against common criminals.
