Yeah--but there's a difference in physiognomy between Nordic, Scandinavian women and Slavic, Russian women.
No offense, but Nordic, Scandinavian women are at the very top of racial quality (at least in my book).
There's also a difference between Baltic blondes and Russian blondes.
You can mistake my girfriend for a German, but never for a Russian.

Several things:
There's also a difference between Baltic blondes and Russian blondes.
True, Baltic blondes usually have more Uralic influnce, and golden blonde shades are more common in Russia (whereas in the Baltics blondism is almost invariably of the ashen variety). Other than that, I can't think of anything.

A thread once a blue moon on gorgeous White women doesn't take anything away from the general orientation of this forum. You must know that. (And it's in the "miscellaneous" section - not in the "history" section.)
We all need a break from the mundane.
If you don't like looking at beautiful Nordic women, don't. There's a thousand threads out there on this board that you can read, and where you can post.
Finally, I don't see TD objecting to this thread. If TD has something to say, I'll gladly accept his input or advice (it's his board...hint...hint).
Don't pontificate on what "belongs" and doesn't "belong" on this forum -- I believe that this board is also about survival of Whites, and celebrating White women, and their beauty, falls within the mandate of this forum. Now, hop along to the "history" section.

Beautiful women are just another manifestation of God's blessing and there is no shame in admiring them. Personally, I'm quite happy with the one I have, but still enjoy seeing beauty, youth and strength. Keep the thread.

Really? Can you explain this to me. Although try to keep it simple, I'm still relatively a beginner to this phenotype stuff.

I agree with this. I personally know a Lithuanian lady, but at first sight you could easily mistake her for a Russian.

Ukrainians are, on average, considerably darker than Russians, somewhat shorter and more broad-headed. They resemble Southern Germans, Austrians, Hungarians and Czechs more than Russians. Even though culturally and lignuistically Ukrainians are closer to Russians than Poles, Poles are much closer to Russians genetically and phenotypically (they are, in fact, virtually indistinguishable).

I don't really mind it, as long as it doesn't become disruptively acrimonious. I wonder though if some of it, essentially biological study, is better placed in the Science forum. Either way, I have to say that I've always preferred brunettes. In my opinion, blondes can be cute, but it takes a brunette to be what I would classify as a classic beauty. But that's me.... :)

He was an officer.. this photo was from early in the war, maybe 1940 or so. I had heard from her grandmother that he was SS, but that uniform is Wehrmacht, and I think his rank is captain in this picture. She has the documentation to prove that he was SS, though. Maybe he volunteered and changed over, or maybe was co-opted when his unit numbers got low through attrition. Pure speculation at this point. Kind of spooky seeing that stuff and knowing it's not a copy or a knockoff.
He was wounded on the Eastern Front in late 1944, so he was good enough to last almost till the end. Boarded a wounded train home and the train never made it. Nobody knows what happened to it... when viewed through a lens 60 years old, I can only speculate that it was a strafing that took out the train. More's the pity.

And strangely, both Polish and Russian girls are always confused with something else. Usually something more Western. My wife is constantly taken for Dutch or Irish and she's Polish to the bone. Olga Korbut, the Russian gyminist famous in the 70s, was usually thought to be German. Etc. I'm sure there's some historic reason for this but I have no clue what it might be.

I think there are several reasons for this. There are common misconceptions in the West about what Russians and other Eastern Europeans look like. Many people mistakenly believe that Russians are dark, short Tatar-looking people (Turkic). I think this may have something to do with the way Russians have long been stereotyped in the American media, especially during the Cold War - for example, the guy who played the 'Russian ambassador' in Dr. Strangelove was purposefully selected for Turkic/Mongoloid traits (and of course he wasn't Russian). Russians are actually very simmilar to Central Europeans morphologically, but much blonder. The most common phenotypes (or racial types, whichever you prefer) among ethnic Russians are sub-Nordic, East Baltic and Nordic. Poles are as blonde as any Scandinavian population. The reason why Russians and Poles are often mistaken for other Europeans is because Westerners have a misconception about what Russians and Poles look like which does not jibe with reality.

Yeah I agree. Don't take my word for it completely(I'm a beginner), but I believe I have somewhat East Baltic features(but thats just my educated guess). But yet many people mistake me for French or Irish(although my mother is French/Spainish considerably). I even had a Serb mistake me for being Irish once. But on the whole Russians and Ukrainians(and sometimes Poles) will reconize me as Slavic.

'These speciemens' probably are Tatars (or of kindred ethnicity). One must keep in mind that Russia and the Ukraine are both multi-ethnic countries. There are more than 100 ethnic groups in Russia alone. Some of them, like the Tatars and Chuvashis have strong Mongoloid admixture, and some others are predominantly Mongoloid. To assume that everything that comes off of a 'russian' mail-order bride is Russian is ridiculous (most of the 'Russian' women on that site are from the Ukraine which should tell you something).
Edit: the second one looks Mediterranean. The first one looks Turkic - could be anything from a Chuvash to a Yakut.

Only 8/23 are Russian. Of course, the proporation in the general population is not as skewed, but I would say that the real percentage of ethnic Russians in Russia right now is closer to 55% rather than the 81% hilariously given on the census (this figure has been used for 30 years straight, in fact).

Why would that be an insult?
I'm only speaking from personal experience; I believe that Balts have a very similar phenotype, "look", whatever you want to call it, to Germans. That's all. Of course, it could also be because I'm German, and people tend to think that my girlfriend is also German. And we have the same phenotype; in fact, she could be my sister.
There are some fine looking Slavic ladies out there, no doubt about it.

Nice picture (thread starter)--splendid sampling of one of nature’s finest flowers. One point concerning blonds, however: I am reasonably certain that subject #2 has had her hair lightened artificially. The front streak of subject #3 is suspect as well, the sun doing a rather uneven job of bleaching her lovely crown. The gals seem mature enough so it’s likely that they’ll hang on to the colouring nature has given them, but the blond to brown hair transformation is common even in late teens and early adulthood.
Doubtless no one here is at risk for committing the following sin, but just the same, a minor note for connoisseurs who make their preferences known far and wide: Do not be like Dr. Goebbels, a man who on at least one social occasion expressed his low opinion of dyed hair, blissfully unaware of his own wife’s cosmetic practices. Fortunately, he was in caring company and straight faces were retained all around. :holiday:

Oh you keep saying that to me, yet I continually show a deep sense of humor and easy-goingness here. My first post here is a clear example of that, it was not a direct assault on Nordic women. Whenever the topic of female relations or white beauties comes up, I always state my taste for Slavic women. It was very light-hearted.

I personally really like Nordic women, but just the [I]real [/I] Nordics and not such heavy build Bruenn or Dalofaelic ones.
If I would have the free choice between a very progressive and attractive Mediterranean, I would see no reason to like the bony Bruenn types more than the fine featured real Nordics or Meds. The difference between these two is just pigmentation, and I personally think that morphologic features are much more important.
