PHILADELPHIA, 6:52 p.m. EDT October 8, 2003 - The daughter of a man who was killed along with his girlfriend and the woman's daughter told NBC 10 News how police described the horrifying last hours of the trio's lives.**[/size]
Sean Eric Brown (pictured, left), 19, was arrested and questioned Tuesday in the deaths of Patricia Henry, 51; her fiance, James Koffer; and Henry's daughter, Patricia Stallworth, 15. Wednesday, he was charged with three counts of murder, two counts of rape and related charges. Police said he had no known address. The bodies were discovered Sept. 23 in their Philadelphia home after Koffer's co-workers reported that he had not shown up for work for two days. They had all been shot in the head. The bodies of Stallworth and Koffer were found upstairs in the family home. Investigators later found Henry's body rolled up in a rug downstairs.

I predict that CSI, Law & Order, and/or Cold Case will show an episode based on this case, except that the perpetrator will be a blond White man from the suburbs. This would fall in line with their track record with the negligent crematory operator case, the DC sniper case, and now, based on Sunday's episode of "Cold Case", the Center City Rapist.

If this were white on black, it would be national news. Every event from the crime to through the trial would be reported in the national news. Americans would be hit with a constant crusade about white on black racism and crime. If it were black on white, only the local paper would report it without any attention to race.
This is all part of conditioning. Pictures are powerful, statistics are meaningless, to most people. The fact that blacks are FIFTY times more likely to commit violent crimes against whites than whites against blacks cannot stand up against one case of media obsession with one white on black murder -- nevermind that no one in the mainstream media will tell the public about the real racial statistcs.
If the media had obsessed with the Carr brothers black on white murders and ignored that white on black dragging death, America's attitudes on race would be reversed.

It's now SOP for all tv crime shows. After all, if their stories were actually & truthfully 'torn from today's headlines', Al & Jesse would be along in short order with a list of demands and a few thousand of their protest-monkeys in tow. And then they might risk the wrath of George ("no - [B]seriously [/B], I'm a conservative") Bush's FCC chairman.

If they just would've taken pains to point out that the dragger had been psychologically destroyed from being raped by blacks in jail....without [I]any [/I] followup....things would be different. Somebody somewhere would've taken the initiative to look into the demographics of prison rape a little further.
But there are no more cowardly dogs in modern media than so-called investigative reporters. They'll risk anything in dogged pursuit of a story, except for however many that might be hidden behind a steel door with a sign on it reading, variously, KEEP OUT, THIS MEANS YOU, DANGER: HIGH VOLTAGE, CLASSIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY - and, in small print that only reporters can see, "Violators Will Be Blacklisted".

I asked someone who watches Law and Order if it has ever featured a nonwhite criminal. She told me once the perpetrator was asian and another time was half black and half asian. And this supposed to be set in New York City.
