Someone on the internet has just threatened to murder me for promoting Conservatism. He has a White name. It's an interesting psychology, the inability to engage in rational debate and instead attempt to murder people who verbally suggest an ideology different from yours. But then, I suppose it depends on how much compromise people are willing to engage in. For example, let's say that there is sufficient votes to pass a law that opponents are extremely against. Is there a threshold for people before they decide that they will forgo democracy and rather engage in civil war to kill off those that support the antagonizing social policy? I am just trying to understand human behavior here, I am not suggesting that anyone subordinate democracy for violence.
The person who theatened to kill me obviously believed that Conservatives have ideas that surpass his threshold for democratic tollerance: he decided that instead, Conservatives should be killed off via Civil War. I am assuming that all humans are like this: all people have a threshold for democratic tollerance, before they decide to just kill off those that are way to radical for them to accept. Let's say that here in America Whites become a minority, and non-Whites decide that Whites should be ethnically cleansed, such as in South Africa. Let's say that the non-Whites have the voting power to pass such a law in Congress and indeed do so. Well, this law would have passed via democratic vote. So, would Whites agree to be killed since it was a democratic vote, or would Whites say that the law has passed their threshold for democratic tollerance and thus civil war should be used instead? Again, this is all just hypothetical for the purpose of understanding human behavior, I am in no way suggesting that anyone substitute violence for democratic vote. It's just that people are always threatening to murder me for being a Conservative, so this made me wonder how people balance democratic tollerance with internal genocide.
What are your thoughts?

The self-annoited "tolerant" always decide for themselves who is "tolerant" and who is not, which ideas must be "tolerated" and which ideas must be persecuted. It just so happens the ideas that are to be "tolerated" tend to be the ideas the self-annoited "tolerant" themselves agree with.

1) To start with nothing about Ares is conservative so if he was threatened the keyboard killer was no better informed about conservatism then our resident would be Spock like poser.
2)Any who is disturbed by a death threat on the internet is too sheltered and fragile to worth talking to about real life and best try to catch a ride on the next comet passing our way.
3) Total tolerance for the promotion of social destructive ideas is foolish and those that promote such ideas are too decadent to contribute anything to those of us that care about our children's future.
4) In the end, all societies seek to supress dissent so the only real question is if one is tolerant of that which is destructive to Traditionalism or if one is tolerant of that which maintains Traditionalism.
5) Genuine diverisity of ideas is exceedingly rare in any society and Carl Schmitt and the European New Right types are right that what passes for democracy these days is simply a more effective means of societal control which is used for the promotion of social pathologies.
6) Ares should stop misrepresenting himself as a conservative and use just one screen name here rather then the 6 or so he has.

You should send them your home info so they can come try and get locked up or put underground. Spoof the email source so you can be silent or not remember were the email came from and the system will assume the protagonist made up the email and outed you on his own. In theory there are more of us than them so even a 1-1 fighting back will win for us.
Your a great Conservative, you should be happy to take one for the team.
Don't forget to keep your powder dry!

Indeed. Since I first began debating the oncoming Iraq War in the fall of 1990, on the old Prodigy service, I have received perhaps hundreds of death threats. You'll note I'm not dead. I've even given my address out a few times, when I wanted to make a point about how little those threats concern me. There's a guy calling himself "Liberal Nut" on one of the EZBoards who keeps insisting that I give him my address and select which bone of mine he should break. He's really quite persistent in this. Its the very height of irrelevancy. Frankly, you should have figured this out on your own by now, unless this is your first computer that you just got for Christmas or some such....
