CHICAGO- More than 7 million Christians in some 25,000 U.S. churches are expected to show support for the State of Israel Sunday, Oct. 26, according to organizers of the Stand for Israel project of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
Stand for Israel's annual Day of Prayer and Solidarity with Israel, which last year involved 16,000 churches and their congregants, "is key to mobilizing Christian leadership and grassroots support for Israel at this critical time," said Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, founder and president of The Fellowship and co-chair of Stand for Israel.
"We anticipate even greater levels of participation from the Christian community this year," said Ralph Reed, co-chair of Stand for Israel. "Given the commitment of these American Christians to the State of Israel and her precarious position among her hostile Arab neighbors, we look forward to a tremendous swell of support for Israel in the Christian community."
Rabbi Eckstein and Mr. Reed will appear at major churches to commemorate the Day of Prayer. Churches participating in the Day of Prayer pledge to devote part of their Sunday service to preaching about Israel and leading the congregation in prayer for the people and State of Israel. In addition, Israeli government officials will be invited to address participating congregations.

Lenin the anti-Semite?
Well, I've heard it all now...nevermind that he was part Jewish.
People are so ignorant of even basic historical facts.
I was watching (and half-listening) to this anti-abortion woman on CNN the other day, when she mentioned how Catholics in National Socialist Germany (always throw in National Socialist Germany to make a forceful point!) lost their "rights" when National Socialists came to power.
Again, nevermind mind that most high-ranking National Socialists were Catholics (as was Adolf Hitler) and the Concordat of 1933 between the new regime and the Vatican (the same deal was offered to the Weimar Republic and rejected by it -- who was more friendly to the Church, the Weimar Republic or the Third Reich?).

Yeah and Trotsky openly advocated at times for the extermination of the Jews. Marx himself was Jewish yet often spouted anti-semitic remarks. Self-hatred is a distinctly Jewish trait.

.....What gets me is that almost identical charges against the “jews” have followed them consistently down through this earth age, (the second of three, Scripturally speaking); these charges have endured in many different languages, in virtually every country that has existed, even in ancient times, and the, (almost), universal disdain for those that are both knowledgeable enough, and in possession of the rare testicular fortitude, (many of these were among the most learned individuals of their day), to level the true charges against these imposters, is to be accepted as, not that they might be in possession of Historical evidence of anything, but as evidence of some manner of unruly tenacity that History has produced an endless series of “irrational” “anti-semites” and “self-hating jews” to badmouth “jews” without justification... truly incredible...

Oh, I can and do believe it. For me, it's not only the outrageous lies, distortions, omissions and pandering by likes of the 700 Club and TBN. It's the internal inconsistency. Like you, I to have seen the "Lenin: the original Russian anti-semite" canard. But I've also seen them claim that the Bolsheviks were divine punishment sent by God to cleanse Russia of her omnipresent anti-semitism and pave the way for televangelists to bring the message of salvation by Judeoaltry to the ignorant Russian masses. These people are loony. Have you ever seen someone of this persuasion actually watch the stuff?
It's really fascinating how heathly tendencies (like anti-communism) among the Christian-Zionist faction are perverted by all the noxious philo-semitism. They are living in a fantasyland created whole cloth out of absurd Jewish victimology myths which invaribly have nothing good to say about the undifferentiated darkness outside Jewry. If Lenin was anti-Jew so were the Whites. Hitler, Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill: Anti-semites all, don't you know? Christians were anti-semites and so were the Romans. Pat Robertson, no matter how many spinal discs he slips prostrating himself in outright worship of Jews, will be forever an unreformable anti-semite. How can people be so blind?
