Yet Another Ethnic Anti-Gun Bill
Re: the new anti-gun law [bill] winding its way through Congress, sponsored by Jewish Senator Charles Schumer as usual, and also by a gentile woman that Schumer could convince to co-sponsor it; it has no bill # yet, but is dubbed the "NICS Improvement Act." It allegedly bolsters gun sale background checks:
Jews and Guns In America
Article I, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution says: "No bill of attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed." Pretty plain, huh? No law passed after-the-fact.
But the 1996 Lautenberg Domestic Confiscation gun law, from Jewish Senator Frank Lautenberg [D-NJ], says that anyone who has ever been convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence cannot own a gun, even if the act occurred 30 years ago. That's right -- the gun ban is retroactive. Ex post facto.
Of course, this above does not mention the Jews who sponsored the earlier 1994 Brady gun law: Senator Howard Metzenbaum and then-Congressman Charles Schumer. It also does not mention the other leading [Jewish] gun-banners in Congress: Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, etc.
Jews have led the movement in America to ban privately-owned firearms. Gun control in America is Jewish-by-race.

The primary function of JPFO is to say "LOOKY HERE! WE'RE JEWS AND WE OPPOSE GUN CONTROL" to deflect blame away from the cause of gun control.
Note, however, Schumer,Lautenberg, Feinstein, Boxer and Lautenberg don't sound off about being Jewish when they legislate our rights away.

Here is an interesting article from a Jewish periodical discussing what constitutes a "Jewish issue":

The answer according to the article is that "the JCPA [the Jewish Council for Public Affairs], the umbrella organization for 122 Jewish Community Relations Councils and 13 national agencies, develops public policy positions on behalf of the organized American Jewish community." The JCPA, until 1997 known as the National Jewish Community Relations Advisory Council, encompasses the three main synagogue unions (Reform, Conservtive, and Orthodox), the three main "defense agencies" (ADL, American Jewish Committee, and American Jewish Congress), etc.
The JCPA has decided that gun control is a Jewish issue, and the JCPA and the Jewish community were heavily involved in the so-called Million-Mom March as part of the broader gun control movement that Reva Price, Washington director for the JCPA, says Jews "are all part of".

Thus we have Rabbi Eric Yoffie, president of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, explaining that "Controlling guns is not only a political matter but a solemn religious obligation," as teens from the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) look on.

As James Besser of "The Jewish Week" explained,
"Gun control and Judaism have always gone hand in hand. Jewish politicians, including Schumer and Democratic Sens. Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey and Dianne Feinstein of California are at the forefront of the battle in Congress. Lautenberg, in fact, sponsored the bill that was adopted last week by the Senate."

Despite the existence of a group like the JPFO, the fact is that the Jewish community throws its weight behind the proponents of gun control.
Here's an interesting article [from the "Jewish Daily Forward"] discussing how Jews in Pennsylvania have refused to bankroll a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate because he is anti-abortion and anti-gun control.

I have located some choice quotes from Jewish leaders and organizations. Here are three excerpts from an article discussing the Million Mom March:
“Jewish communities around the country are really gearing up for the Million Mom March,” said Reva Price, Washington director for the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA). “But the problem is the broader gun control movement we’re all part of. There’s no real leadership. There are a lot of groups pulling in different directions.”
Jewish groups up and down the East Coast are sending busloads of activists. A Federation in New Jersey has chartered a train.
“This is something that really resonates with our people, and we expect very strong participation,” said Mark Pelavin, associate director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. The Reform group has made gun control a top domestic priority this year.
The Orthodox Union has endorsed the march and is encouraging members to attend. The National Council of Jewish Women is expecting bus caravans from cities up and down the East Coast, and participants from as far away as California. NCJW board members were on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, lobbying on gun control — among other issues.
The American Jewish Congress is currently leading a petition drive among religious groups advocating licensing and registration. One goal of the effort is to bring focus to a movement whose goals are blurred by too many leaders with too few new ideas.

Why?
Jewish history is consistent with a claim that the citizen disarmament movement in the US is in large part mobilized, funded, and popularized by Jews in an effort to serve Jewish interests in the US -- interests which are perceived to depend on a strong government. Since the RKBA was intended as a check on government power, the RKBA must go.
Jewish history over the last couple of millennia is characterized by a pattern in which Jews have aligned themselves with the gentile ruling elite and assisted that elite in an oppressive and exploitive relationship with the gentile masses. See Benjamin Ginsberg, "The Fatal Embrace: Jews and the State"; Kevin MacDonald, "A People That Shall Dwell Alone", pp. 112-13 et seq.
For a number of reasons, gentile rulers in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa have found Jews useful in building and maintaining their power. Jews' generally superior education and literacy made Jews useful as administrators and advisors, and Jews have long been useful as financiers. See Ginsberg, p. 9. Moreover, because of their ethnic separation from the gentile masses, they could be counted on to perform tasks such as tax collection without sympathy for the exploited masses. As Baer observes in "A History of the Jews in Christian Spain" [vol. I, trans. L. Schoffman, Philadelphia, Jewish Publication Society of America (1961), p. 33], monarchs or other species of autocrats, i.e., "the absolute ruler over an unfriendly native population, would attract to his service Jews -- the perpetual 'aliens' -- on whose loyal support he could count in securing his regime. This phenomenon, in varying forms, manifested itself time and again also in the history of Christian Europe."
Thus, gentile kings, princes, and sultans would invite Jews into their realms to provide services useful in maintaining or expanding the regent's wealth and power. Of course, knowing that their role in supporting the exploitive power structure (and their power and wealth relative to the masses) would engender animosity among the gentile masses, Jews customarily required assurances of protection from the ruling elite before moving into an area. Benzion Netanyahu, "The Origins of the Inquisition in 15th-Century Spain", pp. 71-72. Netanyahu (father of the former Israeli prime minister) writes:
"It was primarily because of the functions of the Jews as the king's revenue gatherers in the urban areas that the cities saw the Jews as the monarch's agents, who treated them as objects of massive exploitation. By serving as they did the interests of the kings, the Jews seemed to be working against the interests of the cities; and thus we touch again on the phenomenon we have referred to: the fundamental conflict between the kings and their people -- a conflict not limited to financial matters, but one that embraced all spheres of government that had a bearing on the people's life. It was in part thanks to this conflict of interest that the Jews could survive the harsh climate of the Middle Ages, and it is hard to believe they did not discern it when they came to resettle in Christian Europe. Indeed, their requests, since the days of the Carolingians, for assurances of protection before they settled in a place show (a) that they realized that the kings' positions on many issues differed from those of the common people and (b) that the kings were prepared, for the sake of their interests, to make common cause with the 'alien' Jews against the clear wishes of their Christian subjects. In a sense, therefore, the Jews' agreements with the kings in the Middle Ages resembled the understandings they had reached with foreign conquerors in the ancient world."
If you're relying on the protection of the state (as Jews have done for centuries), obviously you're going to favor a strong state -- unless the state fails to provide such protection, in which case Jews have been at the forefront of movements seeking to reform or supplant such regimes. Ginsberg, pp. 9-10 (an example being the overthrow of the tsar). An armed citizenry is a threat to the state and -- where that state is committed to protecting the Jewish population -- is therefore perceived as a threat to the Jewish group. Moreover, an armed citizenry is a direct threat to Jews, who have a history of being targeted for violence by the people they live among.
The founding fathers envisioned the RKBA as a check on government power, but -- although there are Jewish individuals who support the right to keep and bear arms -- organized Jewry perceives that its interests are best served by a powerful government and, therefore, by citizen disarmament. Thus, the vast majority of Jewish political influence is being used to undermine the right of citizens to keep and bear arms. It is no coincidence that the rise of Jewish political power over the last half-century has been accompanied by a rise in government power and efforts to disarm the citizenry..

Yes, American women support anti-gun activity much more than men, and they vote [glad we created that 19th Amendment in 1920]. But the issue here is one specific anti-gun event -- the infamous Million Mom March -- and more importantly the funding of the MMM. Follow the bread crumbs:
