From the Truth-Is-Stranger-Than file....on the same day TCM runs an Elia Kazan festival, Kazan himself passes away, age 94.
We can expect Kazan - who displayed courage in an industry that despises it - to be , if not vilified, then damned with the faintest possible praise over the next few days by the Usual Suspects.
Alas, his death will also make great me-too fodder for the ZioPatriots of the Media as well, from O'Reilly to Horowitz and back.
Makes no nevermind. He did the right thing, and never bothered returning fire towards the small crawling things who've eagerly shit on him for the past 50 years. Almost as if they were beneath contempt to begin with.

Many people thought Kazan was Jewish, though he was actually of Greek Christian ancestry. Kazan is an abbreviation of his family name.

Yes, all of this is true. (As true as the fact that many of us began the road here from leftist indoctrination: check that Miscellaneous thread of yore I started). There is no shame in honestly-acquired leftism: only in leftism as a convenient cover for furthering the interests of one narrowly-defined group at the expense of all the others.
It's also true that Kazan grievously [I]wounded[/I] those Jews by naming names when he did. He woke up and acted upon his convictions....the proof of that is that they still hate him like poison for it.

I remember when they gave him a "lifetime achievement" Oscar a few years back: all the grim-faced Hollywitz commies like Nick Nolte and Ed Harris sitting on their hands in flamboyant "protest" at the award. Priceless.
