In our media the prevailing narrative has been that the British "stiff upper lip" has prevailed and "Londoners are just going about their business" they are "not letting terror run their lives" to quite one broadcaster. The Blitz has even been invoked.

One has to ask is this true "British resolve" or is it just resignation? Have Londoners resigned themselves to the reality of regular terrorist violence? Carried out by their "fellow citizens" no less. Hard to imagine what prospects this holds for UK in the long run.
