What was the assuredly shitlib reasoning for banning hoop skirts ?

I think he's referring to the Old South Ball, a tradition of Kappa Alpha. Guys dress like Confederate officers and the girls dress like Scarlett O'Hara.

I know. I guess what's I'm trying to get is an outright claim by these people that a certain dress style is "racist" for no other reason other than it existed in the mid 1800s.
