Yockey reads like Spengler thrown into a random word generator

You have no call to take that dismissive tone when you don't know what you're talking about.

This took me thirty seconds to google. The purpose of literally translating Erdkugel is to capture the philosophical implications I mentioned; or maybe English translators of the word only developed the word "globe" after Spengler published decline. Imagine being an English translator of German and having a synonym for every word in that paragraph but just couldn't come up with "globe". They should've called Stars down to erdkugel

This is more posturing.

Edit: lol, now I remember where I saw this before:

Interesting -> that makes a lot more sense now. I actually like "Earth-Ball" -- its like the person saying it is working at such an deep level the entire earth is just like a little ball to them ... they can examine the entire Earth-Ball the way a little kid could examine a baseball.

Do you know if that german word is closer to "ball" (like a thing you play with) or "sphere" (like a scientist would studdy)?
Ferdinand
Germans here might want to interject: balls used in sport tend to be der Prefix-ball (Fußball, Tennisball etc). Sphere (maths) would be die Kugel.

Yes, good point. It's like doing flys while lying on an exercise Erdball. LAWGIC TRAP.
Stars Down To Earth
How about you address the rest of my points other than the earth-sphere shit (which I was admittedly wrong about)?
Bob Dylan Roof
I concede those points, just so long as we're clear on the earth-ball.

Yockey was the prototypical far right sex weirdo (BDSM).

You niggers, have you no shame. You disparage the proud Ulick Varange, a man I only became familiar with within the last 20 or so months. I must defend his honor.

So, I've just quoted a bit of the introduction and the foreword, and as I was skimming through Imperium to find more topics to discuss I quickly became overwhelmed. It is good content! Sure it was written by a lawyer, maybe he was a BDSM sex weirdo, all of it resonates quite nicely with me -- an Iowan, the prototypical heartland prole. Obviously, I mean, this introduction and the puffing-up of its own importance is quite humorous, I imagine Yockey himself was writing about how genius he was, but I am sentimental with regard to the man and his work. I'll just quote some things from La Wik about the man here then compare and contrast:

I started to develop ideas about race after being robbed at gunpoint by an African American, also after my brother came home with an African American wife and children. I sympathize here with Yockey.

This is funny to me and perhaps speaks to his self-obsession, its really funny actually.

I think Yockey just had better foresight here than GLR, which seems to speak well for Yockey.

This is unequivocally true, and further, I'm not sure where Stars Down To Earth is pulling this information from but I am very interested in reading it:

What I can find of Yockey's thoughts on Russia (from La Wik and WN sites such as OccidentalDissent) is that Yockey saw Russia as the last great hope for the European spirit... a view I am also utterly sympathetic to, as even today I prefer Putin to any Western leaders. This doesn't exactly fit well with this statement that Yockey viewed Russians as cultureless savages and so on. Going further still I would state that I am more sympathetic to the Strassers than I am to Uncle Adolf, and that I believe a Red-Brown alliance is better than ~pure nazism~ or ~pure fascism~ in terms of something which might actually be viable. There are plenty of incredibly passionate and fanatical people on the Left they just need to start being a little more racist, a little more grounded in realpolitik. If we wanted to use gay Leftist terms we might even be able to come up with some jargon about how the 20th century was dialectical to a massive scale, and that something like National Bolshevism represents the workable next step, the synthesis, of the 20th century's frenzy.
