What we know from the Greeks is that they were cruel, untrustworthy, unathletic, double-faced, gluttonous, sloth...etc. I guess he is probably basing his views upon the Cyropaedia, which is of course fictional and idealistic, but from his face you can see that he is just a sneaky devious lying weasel. End of story.

Perennialism qua perennialism leaves much to want, especially in terms of practical utility. It is easy to get lost, searching for answers in an endless intellectual labyrinth.

I suggest reading Evola's two lesser known works: Introduction to Magic and Yoga of Power. Here, one can find practical spiritual explanations that illustrate self-initiation.
