Yes. There is the spiritual condition of the nation that is the overarching theme and birth rate is only a symptom of the state of this national spiritual condition.

Well, I would make it clear that I don't think the German people will usher in some new creative age of progress in art or philosophy, which is integral to BAP's conception of a meaningful polity. Nor is the idea of a "popular movement" any longer feasible, as the age of democracy is dead.

But Germany still possesses a crust of pragmatic and intelligent men (most of whom are currently involved in industrial endeavors) with the experience and vision required to manage society in the manner that a late civilization requires.

I would also add, regarding birthrate, that while the expansive impulse in the German people has died down, I do not think it is completely dead. What separates the Western culture from all others is its keen historical sense, and the importance placed upon history as regards current political affairs. The Romans, for example, did not perceive their decline as it was taking place; with the exception of certain bitter and marginalized writers such as Juvenal, they could not, generally, admit how pathetic they had become in relation to their forebears.

I mean already with Ovid for example there is a sort of understanding that his generation is beneath the early Romans, but his "ages" were mythological demarcations of time-- purely literary devices-- that had no real import to the current political climate of the day. The desire to glorify the purely present was so ingrained in the Roman political consciousness that the political caste did not perceive the immanency of crisis until it had already consumed them, and it was left to writers to lament their destruction as it was taking place.

I think the Germans above all are very keenly aware of civilizational decline, and even though they have not yet countered this politically or demographically they have shown a greater capacity for organization and statecraft than any other people on earth... even now, under the yoke of Yankee-Judea. Germany is still the largest country in Europe, population-wise, and perhaps thinning the herd can rid them of some detrimental residue.

Obviously that's not what I mean...I gave the example of Sparta. But Germany doesn't have it in itself to conquer or rule anything anymore. Maybe in the far future after some transformations, who knows, but right now it's inconceivable that the neutered German male will be a master.

The article is garbage. Instead of making a case for the medical benefits of circumision dude goes into a weird diatribe of about German birthrates.

And really, no one can predict what's going to happen 100 years from now so the whole thing is a pointless exercise in futility.

The vast majority of humans are sheepish idiots and don't learn the lessons of history. This is just as true for the Germans as it was for the ancient Romans. I don't see how the degenerating Germany in our time has a better historical sense than the ancient Romans did, to be honest. Prophets of decline are always marginalised. Yes, I know that Germany produced men like Spengler (the original one, not this genitally-mutilated twatcunt), but in the long run, Spengler's impact on Germany was about the same as that of Juvenal in the Roman Empire.

It's not the detrimental ones who are dying out, it's all Germans who are having less kids. You can't compare this with Sparta and their habit of killing all the deformed and defective ones.
