Like Ash said, both the Left-Fascist and National Socialist categories involve "right" leaning opinions on the first four questions and "left" leaning on the economic question. The difference between the two from what I can tell is that National Socialist is characterized as a 25%+ lean towards militarism while Left-Fascist is closer to neutral or pacifist-leaning.

And I'm guessing Roland got that "National Liberal Totalitarian" (LOL?) because he was right-leaning on economics and 25%+ militaristic.

All of this just goes to show that the age of party politics is coming to an end and terms like "capitalist" and "communist" are obsolete and meaningless in the 21st century managerial state. The various party ideals and "programmes"-- which in the 19th and early 20th century were political forces of the first rank-- are losing their definition and coherence as politics dissolves into formlessness. Power alone is all that matters now.

I don't know about you guys but I answered "neutral" to a good deal of questions. Many of them belonged in the realm of philosophical inquiry and didn't have much to do with politics.

I re-took the test, answering more "strongly" on previous questions I answered "in part" and also chose 5 questions to weight this time.

Result was not much different:

This test is meaningless...I had to force myself to answer as I would RE the US right now, but I don't consider the US a good regime. Some of the questions were incomprehensible so I left them "neutral." In an ideal state most of the questions would be N/A. The ideal state is a small city with an aristocracy/urban patriciate, preferably with no modern technology. In either case, my answers for such a state would be completely different, but a lot of them would be N/A.

The graph above is very misleading. It says I am only 14% militaristic when in fact I believe in almost permanent military mobilization like in the Spartan model. It's just that the questions they asked are stupid.
