Nosferatu the Vampyre, 1979
Warner Herzog, Klaus Kinski, Isabelle Adjani, Bruno Ganz (of Downfall fame)
Heavily atmospheric and surreal revamp of the 1922 silent film, which I have not seen. Like many of Herzog's movies, it's more mythic and aesthetic than... plot driven? I have no idea because I do not know these things at all, but you'll get it if you watch it. Great soundtrack by Popol Vuh, who also did the soundtracks of Aguirre der Zorn Gottes and Fitzcarraldo.
3.5/5 stars...? Like I said this is not a conventional movie, so I'm not sure how to judge it. I recommend it.
yes niccolo that's all fine, but do you recommend the movie???????
Ghost Dog : The Way of the Samurai .
I enjoyed it quickly. The story of this black man on a vendetta against the Italian mafia with as only friend a French speaking haitian ice cream boy. Some great quotes throughout the movie and excellent acting by Forest Whitaker.
