Is there a Latest Posts widget you could put in the sidebar? Preferably self-updating like the shoutbox, but having to refresh occasionally would still be better than flipping between the home page and Latest Threads.

3. A digital cock fighting ring.
4. A weekly Banhammer like on Gawker (a website we should be working to emulate) where the banned are called to task for not using the proper pronouns for transexuals or misspelling the names of the latest reality tv stars.
5. A week where everyone's status is changed to, "I'm only here for the beer."

But in all seriousness, I notice there is a fair amount of trolling here which seems to be almost exclusively internal. Perhaps this could be put to better use and we could have a forum for external trolling, practical jokes, hoaxes, etc. Nothing illegal of course, but in the vein of SomethingAwful users like @boring_as_heck who've had amusing things trend on Twitter (e.g. BeliebersLoveHitler, Scott Baio dies of diaper rash). Perhaps we could spread rumors bound to start a chimpin' (e.g. "Civil Rights Act to Expire in March!") or become approved Gawker commenters and then troll them with our particular brand of politics. Just a thought.
