How many of these New Salotreans can really assimilate to Croatio-Canadian board culture?

Hello all! I'm a 22 year old male poasting live from the swampy epicenter of Amerikwa's McDisneyGlobe culture (Fl).

Like many who came from the twitter dot com wasteland, I've been lurking frogtwitter and read so many threads I felt I might as well sign up.

Hi everyone. I'm late 20s/early 30s; born and grew up in a Western country. I find this forum and several of the characters here fascinating (such erudition!), and have been lurking for a considerable period of time. I come here from twitter, more or less - I increasingly started following frogtwitter accounts around a year or so ago (menaquinone et al.) and was somehow alerted to the existence of this forum through that nexus.

Several of the recurring themes in this forum resonate with me. I have long had an unshakeable sense that there is something wrong with our culture, and there is an eminently observable decline occurring throughout our lifetimes. I was never really able to pin down exactly what was the source of this growing sickness, until I began reading material from the early 20th century, which more-or-less convinced me that this is all a consequence of industrial society. I am probably guilty of fetishising the past to a certain extent, but as I grow older I feel ever more acutely how modernity and the industrial system corrupts humanity. It is a system which reduces humans to their crudest and most base elements.

I probably won't post much: there are few things I feel strong conviction about.
I feel I should declare I am non-white but I have never really been particularly offended by racism, although this is presumably evident considering I have been spending quite some time reading a forum with a not-insubstantial number of white supremacists.

scipio_africanus Welcome.. This isn't a racialist forum and we have non-whites and mischlings posting here already.

I'm an early 20's Anglo (half Irish) with an unquenchable interest in history/philosophy and a weakness for Russian literature.

I look back to understand the events that lead us to where we are now as a society. Naturally I ask a lot of questions in my studies and this has lead to me some opinions that differ from the norm; particularly that there is something severely wrong with modernity, especially so with the spirit of mankind. Technology has enhanced our existence to the extent of making it comfortable, but comfort breeds atrophy and that is what we are witnessing in a culture of instant gratification and spiritual despair.

I found this place like so many others through frogtwitter and so long as I think I can learn something from you all I shall continue to post here.

I'm a university student from the United States. I've only been lurking for a few days so I'll probably lurk for a few more before I really post anything. But it's great to see a community like this one.

Greetings. I'm an American whose ancestors once sat on the Great Council of Venice. Not that it means anything anymore, but it's good for an occasional bit of small talk over drinks. I'm also a husband, father, and veteran who uses Oxford commas.

For decades, I've stayed rooted as the world shifted past me, ever faster to the left. Now I'm shifting farther right than I was before.

  • I'm past both the alt-right and the NRx.
  • The WNs offer me little to nothing.
  • My devotion to Catholicism has nearly driven me to embrace sedevacantism.
  • Evola was too esoteric for his own good, but civilization can't be restored without männerbund. This isn't the a cycle in which we're in Kali Yuga; it's actually a pendulum, and we've swung deep into Yin- probably so deep that I won't live long enough to see it swing back into Yang.
  • Nietzsche was so rational and prescient that he nearly circumnavigated philosophy and went into insanity.
I don't know where I am now, but I've seen sublime thinking in this forum and I'm grateful to have found it. I'm hoping that others here can act as a lodestar as I navigate this escalatingly absurd and ghoulish quasi-civilization.

Little late to introduction but whatever. Just noticed this thread.

College age student from the Southeast United States. Mostly of Anglo-Celtic stock I would assume... with some Cherokee Indian blood from my dads side (or "Savage blood" as he would call it). There is great analysis of geopolitics on this forum which interest me the most. Not really a fan western pop culture so Salo is a nice fit for me as well.

Not exactly sure how I ran across Salo forum on twitter but the first thing I do remember seeing was Nic tweeting history maps of the Balkans...

I'll probably be lurking most of the time here, but hello.
I used to use twitter a couple of years ago and kept an eye on NRx and the alt-right and so on, I guess that's how I found this place. I stumbled upon it again recently and decided to sign up. I still have too much to read and too much to think to talk about my opinions and ideas, but you can figure out enough from the fact that I'm here.

My social circle has been decimated by pharmaceutical opiods and Afghan heroin.

Trauma made me reclusive, but it's getting better. Things become clearer every day.

I'm studying chemistry. I read a lot of nonfiction.

Hello.
