I normally don't like Beck (he made a travesty of

, among other songs), but I like him here, and I also like hearing Stewart singing straight up rock.

These guys were a proto-supergroup and Led Zeppelin simply followed in their mould. I like their take on Shapes of Things a lot, especially when compared to the very, very dated Yardbirds version (with Jeff Beck on guitar here as well) from a few years prior:
Yeah, it's very Zep, and while I can get along with hearing that style I'm pretty indifferent generally. Some nice bass fills and drum stuff happening, though.
